OpenAI deprecated the Assistants API after achieving feature parity in the Responses API. It will shut down on August 26, 2026. Existing integrations should migrate to the Responses API using OpenAI's official migration guide: https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/assistants/migration

Roo Code extension was shut down on May 15, 2026. The official RooCodeInc/Roo-Code GitHub repository is archived, the final VS Marketplace release is v3.54.0 from May 15, 2026, and roocode.com now redirects to Roomote. The original team pivoted to Roomote; new IDE-extension users should evaluate Cline or the community ZooCode fork instead.
JetBrains discontinued Fleet on December 22, 2025, refocusing the platform into JetBrains Air — a new agentic development product in preview. Distribution ended via Toolbox and direct download. Existing AI work continues across IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm, and other established IDEs through JetBrains AI Assistant.
