aicoolies privacy policy
This policy describes how aicoolies handles personal data on aicoolies.com. The product is a public catalog. Most visitors never create an account. If you only read the site, we collect the minimum needed to operate the pages, measure aggregate traffic, and show contextual ads.
What we collect
Server logs include IP address, user agent, and the requested path. Google Analytics (gtag G-LVBWVTCG4Z) records aggregated usage. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies. If you sign in with GitHub, we store your GitHub user id, username, avatar URL, and email as provided by GitHub so we can attach comments, stacks, and subscriptions to your public profile. We do not receive your GitHub password.
What we do not collect
The public catalog APIs do not require an aicoolies API key and do not create a user session. We do not sell personal information. We do not use catalog browsing to train a first-party foundation model. robots.txt asks AI crawlers not to train on the corpus; that signal is advisory.
Retention and your rights
Account data stays until you delete the account from settings or email rasitakyol@digitalkarinca.com. You can request a copy or deletion of the profile we store. Analytics and ad cookies follow Google's retention. Hosting runs on a self-hosted VPS; backups exist for disaster recovery and are not a second product database.
Contact for privacy requests
Privacy requests go to rasitakyol@digitalkarinca.com. We respond as the data controller for aicoolies.com. The operator is based in Izmir, Turkey. If a request needs more time because it depends on a third party (GitHub, Google), we will say so.
