What each product actually is
Antigravity is built as an agent-first Google development surface: desktop app and CLI around Agent Mode, Gemini models, and Google AI Pro/Ultra or Cloud org paths. The product thesis is plan-and-execute work inside a Google-native agent desk, not hiring a separate cloud employee.
Devin is Cognition’s autonomous SWE line. Buyers get Cloud agent sessions plus Devin Desktop, CLI handoff into cloud runs, Review, and automation hooks. The thesis is longer-running agent work on well-scoped engineering tasks inside the Cognition stack — a different shape from an IDE-first Agent Mode desk.

Antigravity: Agent Mode plus the Antigravity 2.0 agent-first desktop/CLI line (subagents, hooks, scheduled tasks). Through September 2026 the desktop/CLI changelog continued shipping polish such as Documents, /boost multi-agent reasoning on paid tiers, enterprise terminal/Git paths, and Gemini 3.8 Flash routes. Devin: Since the March Score date, Cognition shipped self-serve Free / Pro $20 / Max $200 / Teams plans, Devin Desktop as the Windsurf successor surface, Windows VMs, Fusion harness, SWE-2, and continued Review / Outposts / Automations work. That surface is broader than what Score tested 2026-03-25 measured — flag Devin as a Score re-pulse candidate before treating overall 79 as a full picture of today’s Desktop/Fusion/SWE-2 product. Legacy note — Windsurf is not Devin’s score
Windsurf remains a graveyard listing that rebranded toward Devin Desktop. Its historical Score (tested 2026-03-27) stays on Windsurf only. Do not transfer those numbers to Devin or use them to invent parity with Antigravity’s 88.
