Parallel worktrees and session shape

Emdash treats parallel agents as first-class tasks on a visual board: each agent lands in an isolated Git worktree so concurrent edits do not trampoline into the same working tree. The product pitch centers on detecting many local CLI agents, wiring MCP servers, and keeping the board as the control surface while the underlying agents still own model quality and subscriptions.

Claude Squad takes the opposite shell: a terminal app (cs) that spins agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or Aider into tmux sessions with their own worktrees or branches. The value is multiplexed terminals, a dashboard of live instances, auto-accept for background runs, and a review step before merge — not a desktop ADE canvas.
